Études for Elixir

In this book, you will find descriptions of programs that you can write in Elixir. The programs will usually be short, and each one has been designed to provide practice material for a particular Elixir programming concept. These programs have not been designed to be of considerable difficulty, though they may ask you to stretch a bit beyond the immediate material and examples that you find in the book Introducing Elixir.

It should be noted that Études for Elixir (O'Reilly) are the companion exercises to the book (see also When learning, what order of books did you start with? and Which Elixir books have you got/read?). Also note the a 2nd edition is slated for November - though I don't think that is a good enough reason to put off getting started with the first edition .

In addition to the Études for Elixir, I've found Elixir School to be a good learning resource as well. I will have to check out exercism.io

Although I like to complement the videos with Tutorial/Books: I've been using the "Introducing Elixir" + "Études for Elixir".

FYI: Études for Elixir (github, o'reilly, eBook) is kind of the exercise book for Introducing Elixir - though I suspect that the exercises are far more basic than what you get over on exercism.io.

Now for additional practice you can use Études for Elixir almost immediately alongside either of those two.

More basic resources with a narrower scope are Introducing Elixir 2e together with Études for Elixir.
